Adobe Instructions

These are comprensive step-by-step instructions on how to download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader. These are instructions created for Windows 98. Windows 95 and Windows ME should be able to follow these instructions enough to get the install done.

1. First close all programs except this window.
2. Print these instructions.
   
   
3. Click on this button
   
   
   
4. On this page there is a chart compairing three Acrobat Products. The first row "Acrobat Reader 5.0" has a link at the bottom "Get Acrobat Reader free" Click on that!
   
5. Next Under "Step 1" choose your Platform, in this case "Win 98"
   
6. Skip "Step 2" and click the download button in "Step 3"
   
7. You should get a File Download window. Click "Save"
   
8. You should receive a "Save As" window up now with the file name "ar505enu.exe"
   
9. Save the document in a directory that you know how to get to. In this case just save the file to "My Documents"
   
10. After you pick your directory to save in click "Save"
    
11. The file should download now, depending on the speed of your connection it may take between 15-30 minutes.
    
12. Once you are done downloading the window should give you three choices, click "Open"
13. The Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 Setup will show up, Click "Next"
14. Click "Next" Again and the install will start.
15. Click "OK"
